Donna Davis
Donna Davis is excited to be a member of the sales team at Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's International Realty. She has been working in Ocean City, Maryland, in resort sales, for the past year. Donna is licensed in Maryland and Delaware, which gives her the ability to comb Maryland and Delaware, beaches and surrounding areas. She is E-Certified, a member of C.A.R, Coastal Association of Realtors®, M.A.R., Maryland Association of Realtors®, G.C.A.A.R., Grater Capital Area Association of Realtors® and S.C.A.O.R., Sussex County Association of Realtors®.
Donna is from the Washington Metropolitan area, however, Rehoboth Beach has been her home for more than 30 years. Donna was introduced to Rehoboth Beach, while in high school during her summer vacations. She managed an Indian import store “The Mahararanie's Closet”, and helped with the Maharaja Restaurant. She fell in love with Rehoboth Beach, and knew then, she would call Rehoboth Beach "Home" someday.
For more than 27 years, Donna owned, Donna's Designing Woman, a nail and skin care boutique. Most of the nail and skin care technicians, were trained by Donna. Through an apprenticeship program she taught 8 others her profession. Today 4 of those individuals own there own salons. Donna believed in networking having assisted others with leasing space to start or expand their businesses. Chrysti's, Bikini Splash, Phase One, My Girlfriends Closet, Ellie D's and Savvy Hair to name a few.
Donna has taught classes for Delaware Technical Community College, Vo Tech, Beebe Rehabilitation and Natural Healing Classes, Career Day at Cape Henlopen and Sussex Central High Schools and business image classes.
Donna has participated in hands on workshops for, Look Good Feel Good, a cancer rehabilitation program and has volunteered at Lewes and Harbor Health Centers. She has supported Beebe Medical Center, S.C.A.C, [Aids research], American Heart Association, Susan B Koman Breast Cancer research, Meals on Wheels, Walk for M.S., The Career Closet, for battered and drug rehab. Women, The Parrot Heads, to build a school for those effected by Katrina and helped to launch the S.P.C.A Sussex Co. Building Fund.
Donna also owned a drapery workroom and instillation co. C.O.M. workroom in Bridgeville Delaware for 5 years. 1987 -1991. She covered Maryland, Delaware and Virginia and enjoyed working for some of the best interior decorators including Diane Gory, Bee's interiors, The Drapery Work room and Creative Concepts. In 1999, M. Jane Brady, nominated Donna, and she was voted the employer of the year, for the State of Delaware, an honor she said she will never forget.
Donna loves to golf, scuba dive, dance, garden, interior design, walk the beach, look for shells and of course loves her home, Rehoboth Beach.
